SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Vincent Bozzer of Colona, who passed
4away on February 9, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer was born to George and Mary
6Catherine (Hentschel) Bozzer in Detroit on March 15, 1926; he
7earned his master's degree from the Florida Institute of
8Technology and was a proud graduate of University of Michigan;
9he was a World War II and Korean War veteran who served with
10the Army Air Force; he married Marianne Vilt in Coal City on
11January 23, 1954; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer worked at the Rock Island Arsenal
13for 44 years, retiring on January 2, 1988; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer was an avid bowler, bird watcher,
15and arborist; he enjoyed woodworking, being in nature, and
16being a boy scout leader with his children when they were
17younger; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer was preceded in death by his
19parents; his wife; his four sisters; and his two brothers; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Vincent Bozzer is survived by his children, Erich

1(Suzie) Bozzer, Lad (Brenda) Bozzer, and Therese (Bill)
2Mueller, and his grandchildren, Emily, Brian, Alex, Henry,
3Madeline, Sam, and Elizabeth; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Vincent Bozzer and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Vincent Bozzer as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
