| 1 | | AN ACT concerning employment.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 3.3 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (820 ILCS 130/3.3 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3.3. Subcontractor purveyors and subcontractor |
| 8 | | bidders for Illinois lottery machines. Notwithstanding any |
| 9 | | other provision of law, all subcontractor purveyors of and |
| 10 | | subcontractor bidders for installation, repair, wiring, and |
| 11 | | maintenance services to Illinois lottery machines and |
| 12 | | equipment shall pay no less than the prevailing rate of wages |
| 13 | | for like work and services as determined under this Act.

| 14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 15 | | 2023.
