AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4267

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4267 on page 2, immediately below line 3, by inserting the following:

"(5) The applicant participated in a pre-employment program prepared by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board."; and

on page 3, lines 8 through 10, by deleting "The repayment amount may be prorated according to the fraction of the law enforcement service obligation not completed by the grant recipient."; and

on page 3, line 17, after the period, by inserting "Priority shall be given to applicants from economically disadvantaged communities."; and

on page 3, immediately below line 17, by inserting the following:

"(g) Each fiscal year, 2% of the amount transferred to the General Revenue Fund under subparagraph (F) of paragraph (3) of subsection (c) of the Cannabis Regulation Fund shall be appropriated to the Commission for the purpose of awarding grants under this Section."; and

On page 3, line 18, by replacing "(g)" with " (h)".
