| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Stanley "Mike" Riordan of Bloomington, | 4 | | who passed away on August 15, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mike Riordan was born to Stanley and Mildred | 6 | | Thompson Riordan in Normal on September 14, 1950; he was a | 7 | | United States Army veteran and served in Korea and Japan; he | 8 | | married Jean L. Runge in Normal on March 29, 1975; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Mike Riordan was self-employed and ran many | 10 | | businesses through the years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Mike Riordan dedicated 34 years to coaching and | 12 | | left an organizational legacy for the Twin City Tigers youth | 13 | | football program; he coached his three sons in football and | 14 | | baseball throughout their youth; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mike Riordan enjoyed spoiling his family with his | 16 | | holiday bargain shopping, fishing, spending time with his kids | 17 | | and grandchildren, and listening to good music; he was a | 18 | | diehard Atlanta Braves and Phoenix Cardinals fan; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Mike Riordan was preceded in death by his | 20 | | grandson, Logan Riordan, and his sister, Joann Hopper; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Mike Riordan is survived by his wife; his three | 2 | | sons, Corey (Jess Dailey) Riordan, Conrad (Kelli) Riordan, and | 3 | | Colby (Lexi Worth) Riordan; his six grandchildren, Courtney, | 4 | | Sydni, Cash, Khloe, Ryder, and Axel Riordan; his two sisters, | 5 | | Stanna Breen and Linda Loggins; his mother-in-law, Ruth Brady; | 6 | | his three sisters-in-law, Sandy (Dave) Shaffer, Cheri Wachob, | 7 | | and Susan (Bill) Bratcher; his one brother-in-law, Doug | 8 | | (Elizabeth) Brady; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; | 9 | | therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that that we mourn the | 12 | | passing of
Stanley "Mike" Riordan and extend our sincere
| 13 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
| 14 | | him; and be it further
| 15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
| 16 | | presented to the family of Mike Riordan as an expression of
