| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Dorothy M. Flament, who passed away on | 4 | | May 6, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Prior to her death, Dorothy Flament was happy and | 6 | | enjoyed visits from friends and family and constant social | 7 | | activities with her friends; in her earlier years, Dorothy was | 8 | | known for her many hobbies, most notably for her hand-crafted | 9 | | quilts; once her eyesight began to fail, she discovered | 10 | | audiobooks and couldn't get new books fast enough; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Flament was preceded in death by her | 12 | | husband of 69 years, Peter; her son, Howard; and her sister, | 13 | | Nellie; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Flament is survived by her loving | 15 | | children; Richard (JoAnn) Flament, Ruthann (Keith) Hoffman, | 16 | | Michael Flament, and Mary Jane (Peter) Garcia; her | 17 | | grandchildren, Brad (Rachel) Flament, Brian (Janel) Flament, | 18 | | Alexander Flament, Patrick (Mara) Garcia, and Elizabeth (Brian | 19 | | Leffelman) Garcia; her great-grandchildren, Brody and Presley | 20 | | Flament and Julian, Rory, and Jonas Garcia; her nieces and | 21 | | nephews; and her friends; therefore, be it
