| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Charles Sherman Coleman of East Moline, | 4 | | who passed away on May 8, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Charles Coleman was born in Prentiss, Kentucky to | 6 | | Birchell and Nina Stevens Coleman on June 15, 1927; he served | 7 | | in the U.S. Army Air Forces and married Daisy Ferguson in | 8 | | Beaver Dam, Kentucky on December 23, 1950; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Charles Coleman retired in the early 1980s as a | 10 | | heavy equipment operator; he was a member of the International | 11 | | Union of Operating Engineers Local 150; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Charles Coleman was a lifelong fan of the | 13 | | University of Kentucky Wildcats; he was a former resident of | 14 | | Park Vista, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends, | 15 | | dancing and playing cards; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Charles Coleman was preceded in death by his wife, | 17 | | Daisy; his parents; and his siblings, Eugene, Jewel, Wendell, | 18 | | Virginia, and Margie; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Charles Coleman is survived by his children, Nancy | 20 | | (Wayne) Fountain, Patty (Tim) Taylor, and Katie (Kevin) |
