1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2296
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2296, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 4, by replacing lines 2 through 6 with the
5 following:
6     "(a) Rechargeable battery" means one or more voltaic or
7 galvanic cells, electrically connected to produce electric
8 energy, that is designed to be recharged for repeated uses.
9 "Rechargeable battery" does not mean either of the following:";
10 and

11 on page 4, lines 15 and 21, by replacing "as part of" with "by"
12 each time it appears; and

13 on page 5, by replacing lines 1 through 9 with the following:
14     "(c) The Agency shall include on its website information
15 regarding the recycling of rechargeable batteries.".
