1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 124
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 124 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
4 "training, education, and experience as the Board may from time
5 to time prescribe so long as persons who have an associate's
6 degree or 60 credit hours at an accredited college or
7 university are not disqualified, and shall be required to pass
8 successfully"; and

9 on page 3, line 8, by inserting after the period the following:
10 "Nothing in this subsection (a) limits the Board's ability to
11 prescribe education prerequisites or requirements to certify
12 Department of State Police officers for promotion as provided
13 in Section 10 of this Act.".
