| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Robert E. Mueller of Silvis, who passed | 4 | | away on November 11, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Mueller was born in Wever, Iowa to Robert | 6 | | Sr. and Elsie Lang Mueller on December 26, 1925; he served in | 7 | | the United States Navy during World War II; he married Martha | 8 | | L. Hasenclever on August 1, 1945; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Robert Mueller worked on barges on the Mississippi | 10 | | River after serving his country; he later retired from AT&T | 11 | | after 30 years of service; after retirement, he helped his son | 12 | | build houses; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Robert Mueller enjoyed golfing and was a past | 14 | | member of the Geneseo Country Club; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Robert Mueller was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; his wife, Martha; and his brother, Howard; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Robert Mueller is survived by his children, | 18 | | Kathleen (Gerald) Schmidt and David (Jean) Mueller; his | 19 | | grandchildren, Andrew, Jared, and Jonathan Schmidt and Temple | 20 | | Miller; and his great-grandchildren, Abigail and Emily |

| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 3 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 4 | | Robert E. Mueller and extend our sincere condolences to his | 5 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 6 | | further
| 7 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 8 | | presented to the family of Robert Mueller as an expression of | 9 | | our deepest sympathy.
