| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Charles R. Titus Sr. of Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on May 26, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Charles Titus Sr. was born in Moline to D. Raymond | 6 | | and Helen Burke Titus on August 25, 1930; he served in the | 7 | | United States Army and was a Korean War veteran; he married | 8 | | Donna Mortensen on February 4, 1961; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Charles Titus Sr. was self-employed and retired | 10 | | from U-Haul after 32 years; he also worked alongside his wife | 11 | | at Apple Valley Boarding Kennel, where he was often referred to | 12 | | as "Grandpa"; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Charles Titus Sr. enjoyed socializing as a | 14 | | business associate and was a workaholic; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Charles Titus Sr. was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents and his brother, Ron; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Charles Titus Sr. is survived by his wife, Donna; | 18 | | his children, Debbie Eastwood, Judith Titus, and Charles Titus | 19 | | Jr.; his grandchildren, Megan Eastwood, Andrew Eastwood, and | 20 | | Mike Sides; and his adopted grandchildren, Kelsey and Claire |
