| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Eola "Birdie" Deppmeier of Johnsburg, who | 4 | | passed away on January 9, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier was born in Chicago to John and | 6 | | Eola Walters on December 10, 1932; she married Henry "Jim" | 7 | | Deppmeier on November 7, 1956; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier worked as a medical assistant in | 9 | | the office of Dr. P. Narang for many years; she also worked at | 10 | | the McHenry Hospital and spent many hours volunteering in the | 11 | | emergency room; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier was an active member at Chain O' | 13 | | Lakes Evangelical Covenant Church in Johnsburg, now Meadowland | 14 | | Church; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; the father that raised her, Willard Hillman; her | 17 | | husband, Henry; her brothers, Jim, Jack, Wayne, and Ron; and | 18 | | her daughter, Erin Seemann; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier is survived by her sons, Brent | 20 | | (Suzanne) and Brad (Laura) Deppmeier; her granddaughter, Becky |

| 1 | | Seemann; and many friends and extended family who knew her as | 2 | | "Aunt Birdie"; therefore, be it
| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | Eola "Birdie" Deppmeier, and extend our sincere condolences to | 6 | | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 7 | | further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to the family of Eola Deppmeier as an expression of | 10 | | our deepest sympathy.
