| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Harold D. Fisher of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on December 9, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher was born in Phillipsburg, Missouri | 6 | | to Warren and Ora Haugh Fisher on January 4, 1926; he served in | 7 | | the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army during World War | 8 | | II, earning two Bronze Stars; he married Betty Lee Moore in | 9 | | Boone County, Arkansas on May 23, 1947; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher was a cement finisher for Local 454; | 11 | | and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher enjoyed antiques, gardening, and | 13 | | refinishing furniture; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher was preceded in death by his wife, | 15 | | Betty; his parents; two brothers; and three sisters; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher is survived by his son, Larry | 17 | | (Natalie) Fisher; his daughter, Teresa (Scott) Hershman; his | 18 | | grandchildren, Jennifer (Joseph) Purcell, Eric (Andrea) Riley, | 19 | | Chad (Andrea) Fisher, Jarrod (Carly) Fisher, Trevor (Linda) | 20 | | Fisher, and Zach Hershman; 11 great-grandchildren; and his |
