| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Carol D. Kruse of Woodstock, who passed | 4 | | away on February 20, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Carol Kruse was born in Oak Park to Walter and | 6 | | Erna (Ehlers) Hachmeister on January 24, 1925; she married Paul | 7 | | H. Kruse on January 19, 1946; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Carol Kruse was a member of the Ladies Aide, the | 9 | | Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the McHenry County HCE; | 10 | | she enjoyed reading, knitting, playing games, doing puzzles, | 11 | | and cooking; her passion was making quilts; she and her husband | 12 | | enjoyed traveling and dancing; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Carol Kruse was preceded in death by her husband | 14 | | of 70 years, Paul; her infant daughter, Linda Ann Kruse; her | 15 | | parents; her sisters, Ruth (Bob) Hanck, and Ethel (Paul) | 16 | | Brendel; her son-in-law, Gary Sherwin; and her | 17 | | great-grandsons, Alec Kruse Kaiser, and Andrew Kruse; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Carol Kruse is survived by her children, Charles | 19 | | (Karen) Kruse, John (Darlene) Kruse, Janet Sherwin, and Phyllis | 20 | | (Jack) Fischer; her grandchildren, Kurt Kruse, Karla (Brent) | 21 | | Stewart, Kevin (Mary Jo) Kruse, Tim (Sandra) Kruse, Tiffy |
