SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Doris N. Olson of Deerfield, who passed away on December 25, 2016, at the age of 91; and

WHEREAS, Doris Olson was the beloved wife of the late Ramon L. Olson; the loving mother of Linda (Arthur) Fess, Elaine Olson (Robert Boughton), David (Robin), Steven (Carmen), Mark (Joan), and Christine Olson; the cherished grandmother of Kurt, Tim (Maggie), Katie, Nick, Alex, John, Ray, Lindsey, Lauren, Garrett, Forrest, Matthew, and Ryan; the dear great-grandmother of Sam, Ben, and Holly; and the dear sister of John (Jean) Nelson and the late Elaine Nelson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Doris N. Olson, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Doris Olson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
