1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 426
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 426, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 2, by replacing line 20 on page 4 through line 2 on page 5 with
5 the following:

6 "On and after the effective date of this amendatory Act of
7 the 100th General Assembly, appointments to the board of
8 trustees of the Thorn Creek Basin Sanitary District shall be
9 made as provided in this paragraph. The mayor of each
10 municipality located in whole or in part within the territory
11 of the District shall recommend a candidate or candidates to be
12 appointed to the position of trustee. A majority of the mayors
13 must select an appropriate candidate to be appointed from among
14 those candidates recommended by the mayors.".
