AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5594

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5594 on page 2, by replacing lines 20 through 23 with the following: "the court may not prohibit the defendant from participating in and receiving medication assisted treatment under the care of a physician licensed in this State to practice medicine in all of its branches. Drug court participants may not be required to refrain from using medication assisted treatment as a term or condition of successful completion of the drug court program."; and

on page 3, lines 24 and 25, by replacing "medically prescribed drug treatments" with "medication assisted treatment".
