AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4425

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4425 as follows:

on page 1, line 19, by replacing "notify a" with "notify the geographically closest"; and

on page 1, line 20, after "Program", by inserting "within the State"; and

on page 1, line 22, after the period, by inserting "If the Department determines that a person or guardian is a member of the Illinois National Guard, the Department shall also notify the Office of the Adjutant General that there is an allegation of abuse or neglect against the parent or guardian that is open for investigation.".
