AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 494

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 494 as follows:
 
3by replacing line 26 on page 2 through line 5 on page 3 with the
4following:
5"determine if such applicants have been convicted of any of the
6enumerated criminal or drug offenses set forth in Section
721B-80 21-23a of this Code within the delineated time frames
8or"; and
 
9on page 3, line 6, by replacing "2 7" with "7"; and
 
10by replacing line 24 on page 5 through line 3 of page 6 with the
11following:
12"initiated or who has been convicted of any offense enumerated
13in Section 21B-80 of this Code within the delineated time
14frames or any"; and

1on page 7, by replacing lines 14 through 17 with the following:
2"criminal or drug offenses in subsection (c) of this Section
3within the delineated time frames or have"; and
 
4on page 7, line 18, by replacing "2 7" with "7"; and
 
5on page 10, by replacing lines 22 through 26 with the
6following:
7"criminal or drug offenses in subsection (c) within the
8delineated time frames or has not been convicted, within 7
9years of the application for"; and
 
10on page 11, by replacing lines 12 through 16 with the
11following:
12"not been convicted of any of the enumerated criminal or drug
13offenses in subsection (c) within the delineated time frames or
14has not been convicted, within 7"; and
 
15on page 12, by replacing lines 12 through 18 with the
16following:
17"been convicted of any offense that would subject him or her to
18license suspension or revocation pursuant to Section 21B-80 of
19this Code within the delineated time frames. Further, no school
20board shall"; and
 
21on page 16, by replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:

1    "Sec. 21B-80. Automatic disqualifying convictions for
2employment, licensure, and revocation of licensure Conviction
3of certain offenses as grounds for revocation of license."; and
 
4on page 16, line 18, after "Act", by inserting ", Sections
56-3.3 and 5-6-3.4 of the Unified Code of Corrections, or
6Article 40 of the Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse and
7Dependency Act"; and
 
8on page 16, line 25, after "Act", by inserting "or Article 40
9of the Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse and Dependency Act"; and
 
10on page 17, line 10, before "The changes", by inserting
11"Convictions under this definition are automatically
12disqualifying for a period of 5 years following the completion
13of the probationary sentence or release from incarceration,
14after which point the individual's conviction history is
15reviewable."; and
 
16on page 17, by replacing line 15 with the following: "through
1711-9.5, inclusive, and 11-30 (if punished as a felony), of the
18Criminal Code"; and
 
19on page 19, by replacing lines 14 through 18 with the
20following:
21"convicted of any of the enumerated criminal or drug offenses

1in subsection (c) of this Section within the delineated time
2frames or have been convicted, within 7 years"; and
 
3on page 22, by replacing lines 21 through 24 with the
