AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 264

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 264 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding Section 1-2-1.3 as follows:

(65 ILCS 5/1-2-1.3 new)

Sec. 1-2-1.3. Pet grooming vending machines. Notwithstanding any zoning ordinance adopted by the municipality, the corporate authorities of a municipality may pass an ordinance to prohibit or regulate the location of vending machines that provide an enclosed space or designated area for the use of a customer for pet grooming using goods or services dispensed by the machine.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.".
