| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Barbara Ann Little of Bethalto, who | 4 | | passed away on January 9, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Little was born on December 31, 1933 in | 6 | | Alton; her parents were Arthur and Reba (nee Edwards) Schelle; | 7 | | she married Leon A. Little on October 18, 1958 at St. Patrick's | 8 | | Catholic Church in Alton; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Little attended St. Patrick's Catholic | 10 | | Grade School in Alton; she subsequently graduated from Alton | 11 | | High School; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Little was a homemaker by trade; she was a | 13 | | member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto, | 14 | | where she was a member of the funeral choir for several years; | 15 | | and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Little enjoyed watching her kids' | 17 | | sporting events and other activities, an activity that carried | 18 | | over to her grandchildren once they were old enough to | 19 | | participate; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Little was preceded in death by her |

| 1 | | husband, Leon; her parents; her brother, Tom Schelle; and her | 2 | | sisters, Norma Sholar and Nancy Westbrook; and | 3 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Little is survived by her son, Phillip | 4 | | Little; her daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Terry Eberlin; | 5 | | her grandchildren, Ryan and Kerri Little and Keenan, Autumn, | 6 | | and Tess Eberlin; her sister and her husband, Linda and Gary | 7 | | Herron; her sister-in-law, Peg Schelle; her brothers-in-law, | 8 | | Dexter Sholar and Jim Westbrook; her former daughter-in-law, | 9 | | Jill (Pickering) Little; and her many nieces and nephews; | 10 | | therefore, be it
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | 13 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Barbara Ann Little; | 14 | | and be it further
