2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Jessie M. Winkelman of Woodstock, who |
4 | | passed away on January 27, 2014; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Winkelman was born on March 7, 1932 in |
6 | | Selma, Iowa; her parents were Isaac A. and Iva E. (nee Parker) |
7 | | Northup; she married Wilbur "Swede" Winkelman on February 23, |
8 | | 1952 in Woodstock; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Winkelman was an employee of Guardian |
10 | | Electric and Elco Hillcrest in Woodstock; and |
11 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Winkelman was a member at St. John's |
12 | | Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Winkelman was an avid reader; she also |
14 | | enjoyed spending time with her family; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Winkelman was preceded in death by her |
16 | | husband; her parents; and her siblings, Clair Northup and Mary |
17 | | Huffstutler; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Winkelman is survived by her son, Steve |
19 | | (Linda) Winkelman; her daughter, Denise (Gary) Wedoff; her |

1 | | grandchildren, Nicholas (Jamie) Wedoff, Adam (Bridget) Wedoff, |

4 | | Levi, Lucas, Carson, Kaden, Savanna, Lily, Gabriel, and Elijah; |
5 | | her brothers, Glen (Lucy) Northup, Arlo Northup, Jack (Elaine) |
6 | | Northup, and Robert Northup; her sisters, Arda Downing, Donna |
7 | | Marzahl, and Helen (Jay) Murrell; and her many other extended |
8 | | family members; therefore, be it

9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her |
11 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Jessie M. Winkelman; |

13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
