1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2809
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2809 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by
5 changing Section 9-101 as follows:

6     (40 ILCS 5/9-101)  (from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 9-101)
7     Sec. 9-101. Creation of fund. In each county of more than
8 3,000,000 inhabitants a County Employees'and~~and~~ Officers'
9 Annuity and Benefit Fund shall be created, set apart,
10 maintained and administered, in the manner prescribed in this
11 Article, for the benefit of the employees and officers herein
12 designated and their beneficiaries.
