AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1155

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1155, AS AMENDED, by inserting the following in its proper numeric sequence:

"Section 70. Counties and municipalities may enact greater restrictions than the State.

(a) Any county or municipality, both home rule and non-home rule, may enact an ordinance or resolution that imposes greater restrictions or limitations including, but not limited to, the regulation, licensing, registration, reporting, transportation, ownership, training, acquisition, possession, and transfer of firearms or firearm ammunition than those which are imposed by this Act.

(b) The provisions of any ordinance or resolution enacted by any municipality or county that imposes greater restrictions or limitations on the regulation, licensing, registration, reporting, transportation, ownership, training, acquisition, possession, and transfer of firearms or firearm ammunition than those which are imposed by this Act are not invalidated or affected by this Act.".
