AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 12

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 12 on page 9, between lines 4 and 5, by inserting the following:

"Article 7. Scope of Act.

Section 7-1. Scope of Act. This Act does not apply to hospital or care facilities or units maintained by a department or agency of the State if the department or agency maintaining the facility or unit has authority under law to establish and enforce standards for the hospital or care facilities or units under its management and control.".
