1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3584
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3584 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by
5 adding Section 5-8A-8 as follows:

6     (730 ILCS 5/5-8A-8 new)
7     Sec. 5-8A-8. Electronic home detention; custody. A person
8 serving a sentence for a conviction of an offense who is placed
9 in an electronic home detention program under this Article is
10 considered to be committed to the custody of the sheriff in
11 accordance with subsection (b) of Section 5-8-6 of this Code.".
