1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3505
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3505, AS AMENDED,
3 as follows:

4 in Section 5, Sec. 15-111, immediately after subsection (8), by
5 inserting the following:
6         "(8.5) A 3-axle truck registered as a Special Hauling
7     Vehicle, used exclusively for the transportation of
8     non-hazardous solid waste, manufactured before or in the
9     model year of 2014, first registered in Illinois before
10     January 1, 2015, may, when laden, transmit upon the road
11     surface, except when on part of the National System of
12     Interstate and Defense Highways, the following maximum
13     weights: 22,000 pounds on a single axle; 40,000 pounds on a
14     tandem axle; 54,000 pounds gross weight on a 3-axle
15     vehicle. This vehicle is not subject to the bridge
16     formula.".
