AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3245

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3245, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 2, on page 16, by replacing lines 4 through 7 with the following:

"the Comptroller within 30 15 days thereafter. Beginning January 1, 2013, the Comptroller may require the documents filed with the Comptroller under this subsection by any State agency that files more than 300 documents under this subsection per fiscal year to be filed electronically. To "file electronically" means to scan into a Portable Document Format (.pdf) or any other electronic format that the Comptroller may prescribe and send to either the Comptroller or a data storage system with an identity protection policy managed by the Comptroller.
