AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2643

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2643, AS AMENDED, as follows:

in Section 5, in Sec. 4, by replacing subsection (a-0.7) with the following:

"(a-0.7) The public body awarding any contract for public work or otherwise undertaking any public works shall require that each bidder include in each bid an estimated total number of straight-time work hours to be performed by minorities and females, as defined in the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act, for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract.".
