1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2123
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2123 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic
5 Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 605-750 as follows:

7     (20 ILCS 605/605-750 new)
8     Sec. 605-750. Posting requirements; Illinois Workforce
9 Investment Board. The Department must comply with the Internet
10 posting requirements set forth in Section 7.2 of the Illinois
11 Workforce Investment Board Act. The information must be posted
12 on the Department's Internet website no later than 30 days
13 after the Department receives the information from the Illinois
14 Workforce Investment Board.

15     Section 10. The Illinois Workforce Investment Board Act is

1 amended by adding Sections 7.2 and 7.5 as follows:

2     (20 ILCS 3975/7.2 new)
3     Sec. 7.2. Posting requirements; Department of Commerce and
4 Economic Opportunity's website. On and after the effective date
5 of this amendatory Act of the 97th General Assembly, the
6 Illinois Workforce Investment Board must annually submit to the
7 Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity the following
8 information to be posted on the Department's official Internet
9 website:
10         (1) All agendas and meeting minutes for meetings of the
11     Illinois Workforce Investment Board.
12         (2) All line-item budgets for the local workforce
13     investment areas located within the State.
14         (3) A listing of all contracts and contract values for
15     all workforce development training and service providers.
16     The information required under this Section must be posted
17 on the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's
18 Internet website no later than 30 days after the Department
19 receives the information from the Illinois Workforce
20 Investment Board.

21     (20 ILCS 3975/7.5 new)
22     Sec. 7.5. Procurement. The Illinois Workforce Investment
23 Board is subject to the Illinois Procurement Code, to the
24 extent consistent with all applicable federal laws.".
