AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2123

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2123 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic
5Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6amended by adding Section 605-750 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 605/605-750 new)
8    Sec. 605-750. Posting requirements; Illinois Workforce
9Investment Board. The Department must comply with the Internet
10posting requirements set forth in Section 7.2 of the Illinois
11Workforce Investment Board Act. The information must be posted
12on the Department's Internet website no later than 30 days
13after the Department receives the information from the Illinois
14Workforce Investment Board.
 
15    Section 10. The Illinois Workforce Investment Board Act is

1amended by adding Sections 7.2 and 7.5 as follows:
 
2    (20 ILCS 3975/7.2 new)
3    Sec. 7.2. Posting requirements; Department of Commerce and
4Economic Opportunity's website. On and after the effective date
5of this amendatory Act of the 97th General Assembly, the
6Illinois Workforce Investment Board must annually submit to the
7Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity the following
8information to be posted on the Department's official Internet
9website:
10        (1) All agendas and meeting minutes for meetings of the
11    Illinois Workforce Investment Board.
12        (2) All line-item budgets for the local workforce
13    investment areas located within the State.
14        (3) A listing of all contracts and contract values for
15    all workforce development training and service providers.
16    The information required under this Section must be posted
17on the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's
18Internet website no later than 30 days after the Department
19receives the information from the Illinois Workforce
20Investment Board.
 
21    (20 ILCS 3975/7.5 new)
22    Sec. 7.5. Procurement. The Illinois Workforce Investment
23Board is subject to the Illinois Procurement Code, to the
24extent consistent with all applicable federal laws.".
