AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1881

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1881 as follows:

by deleting line 20 on page 4 through line 1 on page 5; and

on page 5, line 2, by replacing "(12)" with "(11)"; and

on page 6, line 24, by replacing "parents" with "parents, legal guardian,"; and

on page 7, line 8, by replacing "free-of-charge or at reduced charges" with "free or as discounted care"; and

on page 18, line 10, by replacing "Revenue" with "Healthcare and Family Services"; and

on page 18, line 14, by replacing "Revenue" with "Healthcare and Family Services"; and

on page 20, line 23, by replacing "Revenue" with "Healthcare and Family Services"; and

on page 21, line 1, by replacing "Revenue" with "Healthcare and Family Services"; and

on page 21, by replacing lines 3 and 4 with the following:

"(b) There is hereby created the position of Fair Care Officer within the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The Officer shall be"; and

on page 22, line 2, by replacing "State's Attorney" with "Attorney General"; and

on page 22, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following:

"Fair Care fee as required in Section 20, then the Department of Healthcare and Family Services may request that the Department of Revenue revoke that hospital's property".
