AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1586

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1586, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 1, on page 126, line 20, by replacing "subsection (g)" with "subsections (g) and (h)"; and

on page 127, immediately below line 2, by inserting the following:

"(h) If any ordinance adopted under this Section requires the imposition of a tax or fee or the expenditure of funds, that ordinance, or portion thereof, requiring the tax, fee, or expenditure, as the case may be, shall not be effective until the governing body of the affected unit of local government approves the imposition of the tax or fee or the expenditure of the funds.".
