1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1360
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1360, AS AMENDED,
3 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
4 following:

5     "Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
6 Section 3-696 as follows:

7     (625 ILCS 5/3-696 new)
8     Sec. 3-696. Corporate-sponsored license plate study. The
9 Secretary of State shall complete a feasibility study for the
10 implementation of a program for corporate sponsored license
11 plates. The study shall include, but not be limited to,
12 findings on how to maximize profits to the State, how to
13 provide for a discounted registration fee for Illinois
14 residents who display a corporate-sponsored license plate;
15 public interest in such a program; and the cost to the State
16 for implementation of such a program. The Secretary of State

1 shall report the findings of the feasibility study to the
2 General Assembly no later than January 1, 2012.

3     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
4 becoming law.".
