AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1336

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1336 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Transportation Law of the
5Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by changing
6Section 2705-575 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 2705/2705-575)  (was 20 ILCS 2705/49.28)
8    Sec. 2705-575. Sale of used vehicles. Whenever the
9Department has deemed a shall replace any used vehicle shall be
10replaced, it shall notify the Division of Property Control of
11the Department of Central Management Services and the Division
12of Vehicles of the Department of Central Management Services
13for potential reallocation of the vehicle to another State
14agency through inter-agency transfer per standard fleet
15vehicle allocation procedures. If the vehicle is not
16re-allocated for use into the State fleet or agencies by the

1Division of Property Control or the Division of Vehicles of the
2Department of Central Management Services, the and give units

10of the vehicles to units of local government shall be deposited
11in the Road Fund. The term "vehicle" as used in this Section is
12defined to include passenger automobiles, light duty trucks,
13and heavy duty trucks, and other self-propelled motorized
14equipment (in excess of 25 horse-power) and attachments.

16    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
