AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5723

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5723 on page 14, by
3replacing lines 12 through 15 with the following:
4"resulting in Class 4 felony convictions for the following
5offenses:
6     (i) Class 4 felony convictions for:
7            Prostitution under Section 11-14 of the Criminal
8        Code of 1961.
9            Possession of cannabis under Section 4 of the
10        Cannabis Control Act.
11            Possession of a controlled substance under Section
12        402 of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act.
13            Offenses under the Methamphetamine Precursor
14        Control Act.
15            Offenses under the Steroid Control Act.
16            Theft under Section 16-1 of the Criminal Code of
17        1961.
18            Retail theft under Section 16A-3 or paragraph (a)

2            Deceptive practices under Section 17-1 of the
3        Criminal Code of 1961.
4            Forgery under Section 17-3 of the Criminal Code of

8    (ii) Class 3 felony convictions for:
9            Theft under Section 16-1 of the Criminal Code of
10        1961.
11            Retail theft under Section 16A-3 or paragraph (a)
12        of 16-25 of the Criminal Code of 1961.
13            Deceptive practices under Section 17-1 of the
14        Criminal Code of 1961.
15            Forgery under Section 17-3 of the Criminal Code of
16        1961.
17    (iii) Class 2 felony convictions for:
18            Burglary under Section 19-1 of the Criminal Code of
19        1961.
20            Offenses under Section 401 of the Illinois
21        Controlled Substances Act.
22            Possession of a stolen motor vehicle under Section
23        4-103 of the Illinois Vehicle Code.".
