1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4860
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4860 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Cycle Rider Safety Training Act is amended
5 by adding Section 8 as follows:

6     (625 ILCS 35/8 new)
7     Sec. 8. Exemption from liability. An owner of land who
8 authorizes his or her property to be used for an approved Cycle
9 Rider Safety Training Course as defined by Section 2.03 of this
10 Act shall not be held civilly liable for any injury or death to
11 persons or damage to property that may occur during the
12 instruction course or training.".
