AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3372

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3372, AS AMENDED, as follows:

on page 6, line 26, by deleting "enforcement of any ordinances adopted pursuant"; and

on page 7, line 1, by deleting "thereto,"; and

on page 7, line 22, after "infrastructure."", by inserting "The stormwater management committee may also offer tax rebates or incentive payments to property owners who construct, maintain, and use approved green infrastructure stormwater management devices."; and

on page 8, line 9, after "1986", by inserting "and before December 31, 1987"; and

on page 9, line 11, by replacing "and" with "it may not also levy a tax under this subsection, except that if that county"; and

on page 14, by replacing lines 8 through 11 with "counties, except that the counties of Champaign, Macon, McLean, Peoria, Rock Island, Sangamon, Tazewell, Vermilion, and Winnebago are authorized to adopt a"; and

on page 21, line 3, by deleting "enforcement of any ordinance adopted pursuant thereto,"; and

on page 21, line 25, after "infrastructure."", by inserting "The stormwater management committee may also offer tax rebates or incentive payments to property owners who construct, maintain, and use approved green infrastructure stormwater management devices."; and

on page 22, by replacing lines 15 through 17 with "adopted unless (i) a referendum"; and

on page 22, line 19, by replacing "(iii)" with "(ii)"; and

on page 23, line 19, by replacing "and" with "it may not also levy a tax under this subsection, except that if that county".
