1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1738
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1738 on page 1, by
3 inserting immediately below line 3 the following:

4     "(30 ILCS 105/5.786 rep.)
5     Section 3. If and only if the provisions of Senate Bill
6 3539 of the 96th General Assembly become law, the State Finance
7 Act is amended by repealing Section 5.786 as added by Senate
8 Bill 3539 of the 96th General Assembly."; and

9 on page 15, by inserting immediately below line 19 the
10 following:

11     "(725 ILCS 5/119-1 rep.)
12     Section 10. If and only if the provisions of Senate Bill
13 3539 of the 96th General Assembly become law, the Code of
14 Criminal Procedure of 1963 is amended by repealing Section
15 119-1 as added by Senate Bill 3539 of the 96th General
