1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1571
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1571 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 8 and 9 with the following:
4 "board shall promote 60 minutes of minimum reading
5 opportunities daily for students in kindergarten through 3rd
6 grade whose reading level is one grade level"; and

7 on page 1, by replacing lines 14 and 15 with the following:
8 "shall promote 60 minutes of minimum reading opportunities
9 daily for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade whose
10 reading level is one grade level or".
