1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1193
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1193 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 14 through 21 with the following:
4 "payment is made, except in cases in which:
5         (1) a court, government administrative agency, other
6     tribunal, or independent third-party arbitrator makes or
7     has made a formal finding of fraud or material
8     misrepresentation;
9         (2) an insurer is acting as a plan administrator for
10     the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan under the
11     Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act; or
12         (3) the provider has already been paid in full by any
13     other payer, third party, or workers' compensation
14     insurer.
