1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 582
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 582 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Metropolitan Transit Authority Act is
5 amended by adding Section 55 as follows:

6     (70 ILCS 3605/55 new)
7     Sec. 55. Sick leave, vacation leave, and personal leave
8 policy. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary,
9 the Authority may not have a sick leave, vacation leave, or
10 personal leave policy unless the Board adopts the policy by
11 ordinance or resolution. Any sick leave, vacation leave, or
12 personal leave policy adopted by the Board must apply uniformly
13 to all employees of the Authority.".
