1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 464
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 464 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The State Property Control Act is amended by
5 adding Section 7d as follows:

6     (30 ILCS 605/7d new)
7     Sec. 7d. Donated property. Notwithstanding any other
8 provision of this Act, the Department of Veterans' Affairs may
9 transfer any property under $100 in value that was donated to
10 the Department for the explicit benefit of the residents of
11 facilities operated by the Department under the Nursing Home
12 Care Act to any civic organization.

13     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.".
