1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 147
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 147, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 13, line 2, by replacing "drugs" with "cannabis as
5 covered by the Cannabis Control Act, a controlled substance
6 listed in the Illinois Controlled Substances Act,
7 methamphetamine as listed in the Methamphetamine Control and
8 Community Protection Act, or any intoxicating compound listed
9 in the Use of Intoxicating Compounds Act"; and

10 on page 13, line 20, by replacing "drugs" with "cannabis as
11 covered by the Cannabis Control Act, a controlled substance
12 listed in the Illinois Controlled Substances Act,
13 methamphetamine as listed in the Methamphetamine Control and
14 Community Protection Act, or any intoxicating compound listed
15 in the Use of Intoxicating Compounds Act"; and

16 on page 13, below line 25, by inserting the following:

1 "(d) The cost of a reasonable suspicion test shall be the
2 responsibility of the employer, unless otherwise provided by
3 contract or a collective bargaining agreement.".
