1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1075
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1075 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by adding
5 Section 7.3 as follows:

6     (605 ILCS 10/7.3 new)
7     Sec. 7.3. Petition. Upon receipt of a petition proposing a
8 change in a policy of the Authority, signed by not less than
9 1,000 legal voters from one or more counties through which a
10 toll highway under the jurisdiction of the Authority passes,
11 the Board of Directors of the Authority shall, within 60 days,
12 place the proposal on the agenda of a regularly scheduled
13 meeting and discuss and vote on adoption of the proposal.".
