1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2680
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2680 on page 20, by
3 replacing lines 19 through 35 with the following:
4 "(b-10) No person may use, in the title of any
5 organization, magazine, or other publication, the words
6 "officer", "peace officer", "police", "law enforcement",
7 "trooper", "sheriff", "deputy", "deputy sheriff", or "state
8 police" in combination with the name of any state, state
9 agency, public university, or unit of local government without
10 the express written authorization of that state, state agency,
11 or unit of local government.".
