1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 46
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 46 on page 2, line
3 17, by replacing "A" with "Except as otherwise provided in
4 subsection (e), a"; and

5 on page 2, immediately below line 22, by inserting the
6 following:
7 "(e) This Section does not apply in a home rule
8 municipality that, on or before January 1, 2005, has passed an
9 ordinance regulating building access from stairwell enclosures
10 in buildings that are more than 4 stories in height.".
