I move to accept the specific recommendations of the Governor as to House Bill 3480 in manner and form as follows:

AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3480

IN ACCEPTANCE OF GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS

Amend House Bill 3480 on page 7, by replacing lines 6 and 7 with the following:

"Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law, except that the changes to Section 17-1 of the School Code take effect on July 1, 2006.".
