AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2853

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2853 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act is amended by adding Section 2VV as follows:

(815 ILCS 505/2VV new)

Sec. 2VV. Wireless telephone service provider; third party billings. A wireless telephone service provider shall provide a contact telephone number and address for all third-party billings on the consumer's bill, to the extent allowed by federal law, or through a customer service representative.".
