1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2769
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2769 on page 8,
3 line 7, before the period, by inserting ", unless the student
4 is exempted from taking the Prairie State Achievement
5 Examination under this subsection (c) because the student's
6 individualized educational program developed under Article 14
7 of this Code identifies the Prairie State Achievement
8 Examination as inappropriate for the student, (ii) the student
9 is exempt due to the student's lack of English language
10 proficiency under subsection (a) of this Section, or (iii) the
11 student is enrolled in a program of Adult and Continuing
12 Education as defined in the Adult Education Act".
