 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1107

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1107 as follows:
 3    on page 1, by replacing line 10 with the following:
 4    "committing crimes. "Students at risk of  committing  crimes"
 5    shall  be  limited  to  those  students  who  have engaged in
 6    serious acts of misconduct in violation of the board's policy
 7    on discipline."; and

 8    on page 1, line 14,  after  the  period,  by  inserting  "The
 9    touring  of  a  prison under this Section shall be subject to
10    approval, in writing, of a student's parent or guardian.".
