 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 890

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 890 as follows:
 3    on page 1, line  7,  after  "Asian",  by  inserting  "Pacific
 4    American"; and

 5    on page 1, by replacing line 10 with the following:
 6    "events  of  Asian  Pacific  American  History,  which  shall
 7    include  the  history  of  South Asian Americans and American
 8    Pacific Islanders"; and

 9    on page 1, line 11, by deleting "Islands"; and

10    on page 1, lines 12 and 15,  by  replacing  "Asian-Americans"
11    each time it appears with "Asian Pacific Americans".
